Central Iowa’s Leading Contractor

Since its beginning, McAninch has earned a reputation as one of America’s leading contractors. We have streamlined our operation and broadened our scope of projects to include everything from large industrial work to smaller residential operations. Whatever the size of the project, we pride ourselves on speed, accuracy and top-quality work.

Private-sector developers trust McAninch to lay the groundwork for office parks, shopping centers, industrial facilities and housing subdivisions that often include additional features like lakes and golf courses. Public-sector agencies count on us for rapid completion of things like large highway projects, flood control levees and airports.

Earthmoving and Underground Utilities

When it comes to mass earthmoving, McAninch Corporation is the best contractor in the area. We strive to be a one-stop shop for earthmoving and underground utilities projects; we have the ability to deploy heavy equipment for many different job sizes and our fleet of transports and maintenance vehicles can quickly mobilize to sites. To maximize productivity from our resources, we have invested heavily in GPS machine guidance and other advanced technologies that improve job efficiency, accuracy and quality.

Underground utility installation is also one of our specialties. Each season, McAninch coordinates many pipe laying crews on projects that often involve installing heavy sewer lines, culverts and other underground structures. In this demanding, specialized arena, McAninch is noted for our speed, safety and uncompromising quality.

McAninch employs a unique approach to project design and fulfillment. We partner with public and private-sector clients to eliminate constraints and identify cost-saving opportunities wherever possible. The key to a successful project is early collaboration and open communication with the McAninch Team.

Brad Wagaman

Brad Wagaman – 20 Years with McAninch – Welder

I came in as a lube technician, changing oil in the equipment and did that for two years. Then a position came open in the welding shop, and I’ve been doing it for the last 18 years. We’re all a close family, we all get along, everyone helps each other out. I would say they’re a good company just because of the environment we work in. The maintenance facility is nice and it makes it easier, safer for us and that trickles out in to the field. Everything is well-maintained, the tools we get to use – everything is just top-notch and makes our lives a lot easier and safer.
