Des Moines Golf & Country Club
West Des Moines, IA

The two 18-hole courses were designed by architect Pete Dye in 1967, and work was completed in 1970 with the opening of the clubhouse, pool, and tennis complex. This premier recreation venue hosted the 1999 U.S. Senior Open.

Glen Oaks Country Club
West Des Moines, IA

The 7,000-yard Glen Oaks golf course is rated as one of the best in the Midwest and has hosted professional tournaments. Opened in 1994, the community encompasses 450 residential sites. New townhomes and single-family houses are constructed each year on the 400-acree site.

Briarwood Public Golf Course
Ankeny, IA

This upscale community includes 200 home sites on 95 acres. Golfers have enjoyed playing the course since 1995.

The Legacy Golf Course Community
Norwalk, IA

With hundreds of courses from which to choose, Golf Digest picked The Legacy as one of the Top 10 Affordable New Courses of 2003. Located five minutes south of the Des Moines Airport, the village is growing rapidly. Hubbell Homes is building townhouses and single-family units.

Copper Creek Golf Course
Pleasant Hill, IA

The homes in this residential community are nestled among mature trees on quiet cul de sacs. Since 1996 more than a hundred homes have been built, but desirable lots are still available. The unique layout of the course offers a few surprises. The front nine is relatively open, but the back nine fareways are narrow.
