Oakridge Homes
Cedar Rapids, IA

The grading of this 35-acre site for Regency Homes was divided in four annual phases totaling 450,000 cubic yards. The average machine deployment was six D9 scrapers, one grader, two finish dozers, and one excavator loading three ADTs.

GPS guidance helped McAninch’s scraper fleet move 113,000 cubic yards in only seven working days. The 63-lot housing subdivision was developed by Vista Real Estate Corporation of Des Moines.

For Hubbell Realty, McAninch moved 500,000 cubic yards of earth and laid 2,000 linear feet of utilities on 125 acres. The development included commercial lots, multi-family and single-family sites, three ponds, and a 20-acre library site donated to the community by Hubbell.

Deerfield Retirement Community
Urbandale, IA

Preparation of this 45-acre site required cuts and fills totaling 250,000 cubic yards. Underground crews laid 4,700 feet of sanitary sewer, 11,000 feet of storm sewer, and 7,000 feet of water mains.
