Project Willa
Project Willa in Omaha, NE built in conjunction with Ryan Companies located in Minneapolis, MN. Site work started in September of 2020 and turnover scheduled for May of 2022. The building footprint is over 700,000 sq ft with multiple levels that will have state of the art equipment sorting thousands of Amazon packages. Site work for this 90-acre lot designed by Olsson Engineering included a 1600 LF retaining wall to avoid any disruption to existing wetlands on the property. Utilities included sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and water services.

Use of Portland cement in all fill areas with 12” Bridge Lifts until subgrade elevation was reached avoided the need to install a surcharge effecting Ryan Companies overall schedule. This was also an extreme benefit when it came time to do site paving and interior slab on grade as the material held up to adverse weather conditions and passed all necessary tests.
